What is a fire brigade tent?

A fire brigade tent is a lightweight inflatable or frame tent printed with your station or brigade branding, used as an information point, a stand at a fete, a competition base and a space for outdoor training. The most popular choice is a 4 × 4 m sealed-air tent: you inflate it once, it stands without power and it fits in a car boot, so it never takes up room on the appliance.

At a glance

  • No power needed: the sealed-air version holds its air for about 7 days – no generator and no fan noise.
  • Set-up: around 15 minutes, two people, no frame and no tools.
  • Print: full colour on the roof, walls and legs – station name, crest, "Fire and Rescue", emergency numbers.
  • Sizes: 4 × 4, 5 × 5 and 6 × 6 m plus a 7 × 4 m pavilion; walls with doors as needed.
  • Lead time: 10 working days from artwork approval, even for a single tent.

How fire stations use the tent

Open days and fetes

A stand with leaflets, a kit display, a collection bucket and a corner for children. A red tent with your station name is visible from the far side of the field.

Competitions and displays

A base for judges and crews at firefighting competitions, a registration point and shade for teams between heats.

Training and fire safety

Outdoor first aid training, fire safety talks at schools and sessions for fire cadets – under one branded roof.

Event support

An information point and a base for crews at a community event, a fun run or a concert – easy to spot from a distance.

Which tent should a fire station choose?

Sealed-air, if the tent travels with the crew. At a fete or a competition a reliable socket is rare, and a generator is noisy and burns fuel. A sealed-air tent is inflated once before set-up and the pump is disconnected – the structure then stands all day, or even a whole week.

Fan-inflated, if it stays by the station or indoors. A fan-inflated tent has a built-in 230 V blower. It rises on its own when switched on and recovers its shape after a gust – ideal where power is to hand, for example at a station open day.

Size. 4 × 4 m is enough for a stand with a counter and 2-3 people. 5 × 5 m takes a kit display or a first aid point with a stretcher. 6 × 6 m works as a competition base for several crews. Allow extra space around the tent for the guy lines.

Promotional tent or incident tent?

These are two different pieces of kit, and it is worth telling them apart before you buy. An incident or rescue tent is built for operations: it has a floor, heating, lighting and fittings for round-the-clock work, in winter too. It is bought to your service's operational specification.

A promotional tent – like ours – is lighter, quicker to put up and carries full-colour print. It is your station's calling card at a fete, an information point at an event, a competition base and a training space. Many stations have both: the incident tent on the appliance, the promotional one for public events.

Buying with a budget, a grant or a sponsor

Fire stations fund promotional kit in different ways: from the service budget, through a supporters' association or charity, with a local grant or with help from a sponsor. Whether a particular purchase fits a given scheme depends on its rules, so it is worth checking them before you apply.

On our side: a quote with full technical specifications and a visualisation for your application or tender, plus a quote and invoice for public bodies on request. Delivery is by courier to your country, with the cost included in the quote. Ideas for promoting a whole town or district are on our page about council event tents.

A fire station stand for fetes, fun days and open days

At a fete a crew usually runs several things at once: a kit display, a bucket collection, a first aid point and recruitment for fire cadets. That is why a fire station stand works best as a small set in your colours:

  • A tent with your station name – 4 × 4 or 5 × 5 m, with a back wall to hide kit and an open front for talking to residents.
  • Flags at the entrance – advertising flags with your crest and station name mark the meeting point and stand out above the crowd. Build your set in the flag configurator.
  • An arch or a column – an inflatable arch over the entrance to the station yard or a column by the access road shows where the event is.
  • A roll-up with information – a roll-up banner about cadet recruitment or the purpose of the collection, standing by the tent entrance.

The same set then works at competitions and community events, so the cost is spread over many years.

Questions and answers

Fire and rescue – questions and answers

How much does a fire brigade tent cost?

Outside Poland every tent is priced on request, because the quote includes print and delivery to your country. Send your crest and the size you have in mind and we will reply within 24 hours with a quote and a free visualisation. The most popular choice is the 4 × 4 m sealed-air tent.

Does a fire brigade tent need electricity?

Not if you choose the sealed-air version. It is inflated once before set-up and stands for about a week without power. Only the fan-inflated tent needs electricity, because its blower runs all the time.

How many people does it take to put up the tent?

Two people put up a 4 × 4 m tent in about 15 minutes: unfold, inflate, fix the guy lines and anchors. There is no frame to assemble and no small parts to lose.
Yes. The print covers the roof, walls and legs in full colour, so there is room for the station name, crest, service logo, emergency numbers and sponsor logos. We prepare the artwork and visualisation free of charge.

Can a promotional tent replace an incident tent?

No. A promotional tent has no heating and no fittings for round-the-clock rescue work. It is designed as a stand, an information point, a competition base and a training space.

How quickly will we get the tent?

Production takes 10 working days from artwork approval, followed by courier delivery to your country. Before an open day or competition it is worth ordering with a few days in hand.

What do we need for a fire station stand at a fete?

Usually a tent with your station name, one or two flags at the entrance and a roll-up about recruitment or your collection. For a bigger event, add an arch over the entrance or a column by the access road. We print everything in your colours.
