Description

What the 3 m inflatable column is

The inflatable column is a cylinder 3 m high and 0.95 m in diameter, sewn from coated polyester fabric with a weight of 300 g/m². The shape is held by a built-in fan that supplies air for the whole time the column is on display.

The structure is used to mark zones at outdoor events: start and finish lines, checkpoints, event entrances and sector boundaries. Pricing for the complete set is available on request.

What material is this model made of?

The skin is made from coated polyester fabric with a weight of 300 g/m². The coating limits fabric permeability and provides the base for UV printing.

On request we sew hook and loop strips onto the skin for interchangeable advertising banners. The same column then serves several campaigns or several sponsors, and changing the graphics comes down to removing one banner and fitting another.

Installation, power and transport

The column is laid out on the ground, then secured with guy ropes and anchors driven in with the supplied hammer. The fan runs throughout the display, so the position has to be planned within reach of a power supply.

After take-down the whole set, including the fan, ropes and anchors, fits into the supplied carry bag. The product comes with a 24-month warranty.

Graphics are applied using UV printing, with the option to cover 100% of the surface. This covers logos, colour backgrounds and artwork running around the full circumference and across the top of the cylinder.

The column can be fitted with LED lighting that illuminates the skin from the inside. This matters for events running after dark and for round-the-clock displays.

What are the inflated dimensions of the column?

The inflatable column stands 3 m high with a diameter of 0.95 m. It is a mid-range size in our inflatable column catalogue, so it works where you need a visible zone marker without taking up much ground space.

How does the column hold its shape?

The shape is held by a built-in quiet fan that runs for the whole time the column is on display. This is not a sealed air structure filled once, so the fan needs constant access to a power supply.

What is included in the set?

The set includes the column with a built-in fan, full UV print, a set of guy ropes, a set of ground anchors, a hammer and a carry bag. No extra hardware is needed for installation on grass or soil.

How is the column secured on site?

The column is stabilised with guy ropes fixed by driven anchors, using the hammer supplied in the set. The ropes and anchors are included as standard.

Can the graphics be changed later?

Yes – the column can be fitted with sewn-on hook and loop strips for interchangeable advertising banners. The same structure then carries further banners with different graphics, with no need to order a new column.

What print technology is used?

Printing is done using UV technology, with the option to cover 100% of the column surface. The graphics can wrap the entire cylinder, including the top section.

Is the column visible after dark?

Yes – the column can be fitted with LED lighting. This option is used for evening events and races held after dark.

How is the column transported and stored?

The column packs into the supplied carry bag together with the fan and hardware. The polyester fabric folds flat, so the complete set fits in the boot of a passenger car.
