What is a catering gazebo?

A catering gazebo is a shelter for the area where guests buy, eat and drink at an outdoor event: seating next to a food truck, a brewery zone at a festival, a tasting stand. It protects from sun and rain, and with full print it becomes your venue sign. The kitchen and food hygiene requirements stay with the food outlet itself – the gazebo creates the space for guests.

At a glance

  • Sizes: pop-up 3 × 3 to 3 × 6 m, inflatable 4 × 4 to 6 × 6 m, a 7 × 4 m pavilion and "stars" 6-8 m across.
  • Capacity: a 5 × 5 m sealed-air tent shelters about 16 people, 6 × 6 m about 24.
  • No power needed: the sealed-air version stands for about 7 days with no blower, leaving sockets free for fridges and coffee machines.
  • In the evening: optional LED lighting inside, and on fan-inflated tents illuminated legs too.
  • Lead time: 10 working days from artwork approval, then courier delivery to your country.

Where a catering gazebo works

Seating by a food truck

The food truck serves the food, the gazebo next to it gives guests shade and a roof over the tables. The truck logo on the roof draws people from across the site.

Brewery zone and beer tent

A bar under a gazebo in your brewery colours, with deckchairs and tables alongside. At a beer festival it is the spot people arrange to meet at.

Food festivals and street food events

A stand for a restaurant, bakery or producer at a food festival or street food event, with a serving counter and the menu on a wall.

Tastings and launches

A tasting point outside a shop, in a shopping centre or at a food trade show. Next to the gazebo, an inflatable bottle or can several metres tall.

Which catering gazebo should you choose?

Sealed-air for seating that stays up all weekend. At a festival every socket is taken by fridges, beer taps and coffee machines. A sealed-air tent is inflated once and stands for about 7 days without power and without blower noise over the tables. 5 × 5 m shelters about 16 people, 6 × 6 m about 24.

Fan-inflated, when shape and evenings matter. A 5-leg fan-inflated tent 6, 7 or 8 m across looks like a star over the beer garden. The 230 V blower runs all the time, and the legs and interior can be lit with LEDs – after dark the tent becomes its own sign.

Pop-up as a serving station. A pop-up gazebo 3 × 3 or 3 × 6 m takes a counter and staff, goes up without inflation and often fits the allocated trader pitch. It pairs well with an inflatable seating area next to it.

Size and ground. Add a strip for the guy lines to the tent size. On paving, tarmac and hard standing the tent stands on ballast weights, on grass on the anchors in the kit.

A dark sealed-air Jack Wolfskin tent with branded deckchairs and guests in front of it, brand flags alongside.

Does a catering gazebo meet food hygiene rules?

Not on its own, and it is worth knowing that before you buy. The requirements for a place where food is prepared and served are set by food hygiene law and enforced by the local food safety authority, and they decide what a food preparation area must look like. A promotional tent does not replace them.

Our tents are shelter for guests and a brand zone: a seating area, a tasting spot, a point with a counter. The kitchen, the grill and any heat sources stay in the food truck or in a separate unit that complies with the rules. A tent should never go over a grill or a burner – keep open flames well away from the skin. Before a festival, ask the organiser for their rules for food traders.

A brand zone: gazebo, deckchairs and a giant product

At a food festival, guests decide where to sit within seconds. The winner is the zone that looks like one place, not a random collection of kit:

  • A gazebo with your logo over the tables or the bar.
  • [Branded deckchairs](/en/branded-deckchairs) – a wooden frame and fabric in your brand colours, for the seating area and the chill-out zone.
  • A counter as a serving point or a tasting station.
  • A giant product – a sealed-air bottle or can 2-6 m tall stands without power, and the printed cover can be replaced when the label changes. Unusual shapes, such as a jar, are covered on our page about custom inflatables for brands.
  • An arch over the entrance to the zone – we made a printed fan-inflated arch for the Polish craft brewery Browar Trybunał, among others.

If your tent will also work at food trade shows, see exhibition tents, and for selling products at markets – market stall gazebos. Tents for concerts and corporate events are in the event tents section.

Questions and answers

Food, drink and breweries – questions and answers

How much does a printed catering gazebo cost?

Outside Poland every tent is priced on request, including print and delivery to your country. The 3 × 3 m pop-up gazebo is the most affordable, and for seating areas the 5 × 5 m sealed-air tent is the most popular. The artwork is free, and we reply within 24 hours.

Can you cook or barbecue in a catering gazebo?

We do not recommend it. Our tents are shelter for guests and a brand zone, not a kitchen unit. Keep the grill, burners and kitchen in the food truck or in a separate, approved unit.

How many people fit in a 5x5 beer tent?

A 5 × 5 m sealed-air tent shelters about 16 people, a 6 × 6 m one about 24. With tables and benches there are fewer seats, so for a larger beer garden choose 6 × 6 m, the 7 × 4 m pavilion or two tents side by side.

Does a catering gazebo need power?

Not if you choose a sealed-air tent or a pop-up gazebo. The sealed-air tent is inflated once and stands for about a week without power. Only the fan-inflated tent needs electricity, because its blower runs all the time.

Is the tent suitable for a food truck seating area for a whole season?

Yes, for event after event through the season. The 320 g/m² PVC-coated fabric skin is resistant to water, UV and frost, and the warranty covers 24 months. In very strong wind the tent has to be deflated and packed away.

How quickly will I get a tent for a festival?

Production takes 10 working days from artwork approval, followed by courier delivery. We send a quote and visualisation within 24 hours. To be safe, order about three weeks before the festival, leaving time for artwork approval.
