A military tent for promotion – how it differs from a field tent

A printed military tent is an inflatable promotional tent in your unit's colours, put up at an open day, Armed Forces Day or a careers fair as a recruitment and information point. It is not a field tent for accommodating troops: it has no floor and no heating, but it goes up in around 15 minutes and can be seen from a distance.

At a glance

  • Set-up: two people, around 15 minutes, no frame and no tools.
  • No power needed: a sealed-air tent holds its air for about 7 days, so no generator is needed on a training area or parade ground.
  • Print: unit insignia, "Police" lettering, campaign slogans – in full colour or in muted tones.
  • Sizes: 4 × 4, 5 × 5, 6 × 6 m and a 7 × 4 m pavilion; walls with doors as needed.
  • Tank mock-up: a full-size inflatable tank at 1:1 scale, 10 × 3.5 × 2.5 m.

Where uniformed services use our tents

Recruitment and careers fairs

An information point about joining the forces or the police at careers fairs, outside universities or in the town centre. The campaign slogan on the roof is visible across the square.

Open days and Armed Forces Day

A unit area at a military show, Armed Forces Day or a barracks open day: a stand with leaflets, a kit display and space to talk.

Safety campaigns and education

Police campaigns at schools, fetes and roadsides: road safety, water safety, scam awareness for older people.

Service anniversaries and displays

Anniversary events, kit displays and competitions – with the 1:1 tank as a crowd-puller for visitors.

Which military or police tent to choose for open days and recruitment

Sealed-air for outdoor sites without power. On a parade ground, a field by the range or a town square there is rarely a socket. A sealed-air tent is inflated once and then stands quietly all day – it does not drown out conversations at the stand.

Size to match the number of people. 5 × 5 m (25 m²) shelters about 16 people and takes a recruitment stand with two counters. 6 × 6 m (36 m², about 24 people) is a unit area with a kit display. The 7 × 4 m pavilion has an elongated shape that sits well along the event avenue.

The entrance and zone markers. A sealed-air arch with the campaign slogan over the entrance and inflatable columns along the visitor route guide guests from the car park to your unit area. For showing a recruitment film, an airwall with a projection screen does the job.

Inflatable tank – a 1:1 mock-up for open days and displays

Our inflatable tank is a full-size visual mock-up measuring 10 × 3.5 × 2.5 m. Two people unfold it in around 15 minutes, and once folded it travels in a single load.

At a military show the tank draws children and families to your unit area and makes a perfect photo backdrop. It also works at trade fairs, in advertising campaigns, during training and as a decoy. Inflatable mock-ups are made to order, and the tank is the first model in our military mock-ups range – for other vehicles, get in touch.

Police tent vs field tent – an honest comparison

Accommodation, a command post in the field or round-the-clock operations in winter call for a specialist field tent with a floor, heating and fittings to the buyer's requirements. We do not make that kind of tent.

Our police or military tent is kit for meeting people: a recruitment point, a safety campaign stand, a competition base, a space for outdoor training. For units that buy through a request for quotation, we prepare a quote with full technical specifications and a visualisation, with a quote and invoice for public bodies on request, and ship the tent by courier to your country. Fire and rescue services will find more on our page about fire brigade tents.

Questions and answers

Armed forces and police – questions and answers

Do you sell military tents for accommodation?

No. We make inflatable printed promotional tents without a floor or heating. They work as a recruitment point, a stand at a military show, a competition base and a space for outdoor training.

How much does an inflatable tank cost?

Outside Poland the 1:1 tank mock-up is priced on request, because the quote includes delivery to your country. Send an enquiry and we will reply with a quote within 24 hours.

How big is the tank mock-up and who sets it up?

The mock-up is 10 m long, 3.5 m wide and 2.5 m high. Two people unfold it in around 15 minutes.
Yes, we print whatever the buyer supplies: lettering, insignia, campaign slogans and phone numbers. We prepare the artwork and visualisation free of charge and make revisions until you are happy.

Does a tent for a military show need power?

Not if you choose a sealed-air tent. It is inflated once before set-up and stands for about a week without power. Only the fan-inflated version needs electricity.

How long does it take to make a tent for a unit?

10 working days from artwork approval, even for a single tent, followed by courier delivery. Before a service anniversary or a recruitment campaign deadline, allow extra time for approving the artwork.
