Winder Beach Flags
Winder beach flags consist of a segmented mast and a printed sleeve that moves with the wind. They are used by companies and institutions to mark a location and support brand visibility. Winder flags reach up to 470 cm in height.

How to choose the right model?
Size S or size M – which flag to choose?
Winder flags come in two sizes. S covers masts of 215-260 cm and sleeves from 175x60 cm, M covers masts of 280-310 cm and sleeves up to 270x60 cm and 240x90 cm.
Size S works indoors and on trade fair stands, where the flag should not block the display. Size M is set up outdoors, at entrances and along routes, where the graphic is meant to be visible above head height.
How do sleeve models A, B, C and D differ?
The letter in the name refers to the shape of the sleeve. Models A, B and C are the narrow variants, 60 cm wide, differing in the cut of the top edge. Model D has a wider sleeve, 90 cm.
A narrow sleeve fits a logo and one line of copy, set vertically. A wider sleeve leaves room for additional content, but catches more wind, so it needs a heavier base.
Single-sided or double-sided PRO?
In the single-sided version the print is on one side of the sleeve, with a mirrored show-through on the other. This is enough where the audience looks from one direction: against a wall, along a road, or against the back of a stand.
The double-sided PRO version is printed on both sides, with no mirroring. It is chosen for pedestrian routes and entrances, where people pass in two directions.
Standard mast or fibreglass PRO?
The standard mast is enough for short-term and indoor display. The PRO fibreglass mast is flexible: in wind it bends and returns to vertical instead of transferring the whole load to the base.
For outdoor use lasting longer than one day, the PRO mast reduces the risk of permanent deformation.
Which base for which ground?
The base is not included in the set, because it is selected to suit the location. On paving and asphalt a cross base or a disc base is used, on grass and soil a ground spike, and in strong wind a water base.
It is worth agreeing the fixing method before ordering, because with a dozen or more flags in a row the choice of base affects installation time.
How durable are advertising flag poles?
Ario Event flag poles are made from corrosion-resistant materials such as aluminium and fibreglass.
Both solutions are durable and flexible, making them resistant to strong gusts of wind.
Poles – Standard
made from aluminium tubes finished in black, with the top section made from
fibreglass. This pole is designed for single-sided flags only.
Poles – PRO
made entirely from fibreglass finished in black. A pole with enhanced
durability. 24-month warranty! Designed for both single- and double-sided flags.
Poles – Regular
for portable rectangular flags, made from durable powder-coated black
aluminium. The top crossbar connects to the vertical elements
at a 90º angle, ensuring the flag is displayed perfectly
Which base should you choose for an advertising flag?
Choosing the right base for your flag affects its stability and safety. We offer a wide range of bases suited to different surfaces:
- Screw-in and spike bases:
ideal for sandy or grassy ground. - Cross bases:
designed for flat surfaces such as pavements or paved areas. - Heavy-duty bases:
provide maximum stability for larger flags. - Water or sand-fillable bases:
a practical, mobile solution that lets you adjust the flag's weight depending on weather conditions. Water- or sand-fillable bases are lightweight and easy to transport.
How do you care for advertising flags so they last longer?
Winder advertising flags are lightweight, functional structures that require no complicated handling or intensive maintenance. Thanks to high-quality materials, they're weather-resistant, making it simple to keep them clean without any specialist products.
- Dry the flag before storing it to prevent mould.
- Before packing the flag away, make sure the fabric is completely dry.
- Fold the fabric carefully to keep it looking its best.
- Keep the flag away from sharp objects and heavy items.
- Avoid exposing the flag to extreme weather conditions.
- Regularly check the condition of the print and fabric, and order a replacement or refresh of the graphics if needed.
