Description

What the 4 m inflatable column is

The inflatable column is a 4 m high, 1.4 m diameter inflatable structure sewn from coated polyester fabric with a weight of 300 g/m². Its shape is held by a fan built into the base, which runs for the whole time the column is on display.

The entire side surface can be printed with graphics, so the column works as an advertising medium and not only as a decorative element. Pricing for a column with full print is provided on request.

What material is this model made of?

The coating applied to the 300 g/m² polyester fabric stiffens the material and forms the base for the print. The seams and the shape of the column are set so that once inflated, the column keeps an even cylinder across the full 4 m height.

LED lighting is built into the structure and illuminates the column from the inside. The product comes with a 24-month warranty.

Setup and power

The column is set up by connecting the fan and anchoring the base. The kit contains a set of guy ropes, a set of ground anchors and a hammer for driving them in.

The fan runs continuously and is quiet, so the column can stand close to a service point or a stage. After the display, the fabric drops down and fits into the transport bag supplied.

Print and interchangeable banners

Graphics are applied using the UV method, with 100% of the surface available for print. We prepare the artwork at no extra charge.

Hook and loop strips for interchangeable advertising banners can be sewn onto the column. This works when one structure serves several campaigns or several sponsors – instead of a new column, you order an additional printed banner.

Where does this model work best?

4 m columns are used to mark zones at mass events, start and finish gates at running events, entrances to event grounds and outdoor trade fair stands.

With interchangeable banners, one set of columns can cover a full season of events, with graphics changed for a specific event or partner.

Questions and answers

How much space do I need to set up the inflatable column?

The column itself occupies a circle 1.4 m in diameter, plus additional room for the guy ropes running out to the sides. At a height of 4 m, plan clear space around the base for spreading the ropes and driving in the anchors.

How is the inflatable column secured to the ground?

The column is secured with a set of guy ropes and anchors, supplied in the kit together with a hammer. The anchors are driven into the ground, so the supplied solution works on grass and soil surfaces.

Does the column need power for the whole time it is on display?

Yes – it is a fan blown structure that holds its shape thanks to a built-in fan running for the whole time the column is on display. The fan is quiet and is included in the kit.

Can the graphics be changed without replacing the whole column?

Yes – the column can be fitted with sewn-on hook and loop strips for interchangeable banners, so the graphics are changed by swapping the banner. Additional printed advertising banners are available as an option.

What printing technique is used?

Printing is done using the UV method on coated polyester fabric with a weight of 300 g/m². 100% of the column surface can be printed.

Is the column visible after dark?

Yes – the column has LED lighting that illuminates it from the inside. This keeps the graphics readable in the evening as well.

How is the column transported between events?

A transport bag is included in the kit, and the folded column packs into it together with the accessories. Once the air is released, the fabric folds down to a small volume.
