Description

How is this model built and what is it for?

The 4x4 m sealed air tent is an inflatable structure 3 m high, with a frame formed by a built-in polyurethane air bladder with a weight of 300 g/m². The bladder is inflated once before setup and the pump is then disconnected – the tent holds its shape without a permanent power supply.

The outer skin is made of PVC coated polyester fabric with a weight of 320 g/m². The materials are resistant to water and to sub-zero temperatures, so the tent can be used outside the summer season.

The product is prepared for OSP volunteer and PSP state fire service units – as a command point, a base for firefighting sports competitions, a stand at a picnic or at fire station open days.

Setup and anchoring

Inflation is done with an electric or a manual pump, selected when ordering. With no blower running, the tent produces no noise and does not occupy a power socket for the whole duration of the event.

Stability comes from the set of guy ropes and the set of ground anchors supplied with the tent. On block paving, asphalt and other surfaces where an anchor cannot be driven in, ballast is used – sand or water bags, concrete or steel weights.

Printing and wall configuration

The entire tent surface is printed using UV printing, so the graphics can cover the roof, the corners and the side walls. Artwork with an OSP crest or a fire service logotype is prepared at no extra charge.

The set of side walls can be clipped on with the print facing outwards or inwards, depending on who is meant to see the graphics. The reversed version is useful for briefings and meetings held inside the tent.

Expansion and additional equipment

The tent can be joined to further units with a connecting tunnel, creating a run of covered space without stepping out into the open. An extra canopy shields the entrance area.

Strong LED lighting is available for work after dark. The basic set includes a user manual and a transport bag, and the finished product is covered by a 24 month warranty. Pricing is prepared on request.

Questions and answers

Does the tent need topping up with air during use?

No – this is a sealed air structure, so the air bladder is inflated once before setup and the pump is then disconnected. No blower runs continuously, which means the tent does not need a permanent power supply.

Which pump is included?

The set includes an electric or a manual pump – the choice is made by the customer when ordering. Both versions are also available as optional equipment if a unit wants a second pump as a spare.

How is the tent anchored to the ground?

A set of guy ropes and a set of ground anchors are supplied with the tent. On hard surfaces where anchors cannot be driven into the ground, you can choose sand or water ballast bags, or concrete or steel weights.

Is 4x4 m the right size for a fire service unit?

A 4x4 m tent gives 16 m² of covered floor area with a total height of 3 m. If more space is needed, several tents can be joined with a connecting tunnel to form one continuous run.

Can the print also be visible from the inside?

Yes – the side walls can be clipped on with the print facing inwards. This is used when the graphics need to be legible for people inside the tent, for example during meetings or briefings.

What can be printed on the tent?

The entire tent surface is printed using UV printing, which covers the roof and the walls. Preparing the artwork with a volunteer fire brigade (OSP) crest or a fire service logotype is free of charge.

Will the tent stand up to rain and sub-zero temperatures?

The tent is made of polyester materials resistant to water and sub-zero temperatures, and the outer skin is additionally PVC coated. An extra canopy shields the entrance from rainfall.

How is the tent transported and stored?

A transport bag for the folded tent is included in the set. Courier delivery to an OSP or PSP fire station is insured, and a user manual is supplied together with the tent.

How long does the product hold air without topping up?

The air holds for about 7 days, after which the structure needs a gentle top-up. For displays running longer than a week, plan a short pressure check, particularly when day and night temperatures differ widely.
