Description

What the 3.5 m advertising sphere is

The 3.5 m advertising sphere is an inflatable spherical skin sewn from polyurethane fabric with a weight of 200 g/m², designed for filling with air or helium. When filled with helium, gas demand is 22.4 m³.

The product is prepared for full surface printing, so it carries graphics at a scale visible from a long distance. In the air filled version it stands or hangs at a set point, in the helium version it floats on the anchor line.

Material and skin construction

The skin is made of 200 g/m² polyurethane fabric, sewn from panels forming a sphere 3.5 m in diameter. The rigging rope network is woven in during production rather than attached after the skin is sewn, so the load is spread across the whole structure.

A repair kit for minor fabric damage is supplied with the set. The product is covered by a 24-month warranty.

How is the UV print applied to all panels?

Graphics are applied by UV printing on all panels of the skin, which allows the whole sphere to be covered with a design – a logo, a background pattern or artwork running around the circumference. Printing is done before sewing, so it also covers the areas next to the seams.

We prepare the artwork at no extra charge, based on the materials supplied by the client.

Rigging, inflation and optional equipment

In the air filled version the sphere is inflated with an electric or hand pump – both are available as optional equipment. Stability is provided by the rigging rope network and the main anchor line included in the set.

As an option the sphere can be fitted with suspension fittings, allowing it to hang from a hall or stage structure, and with LED lighting for use after dark.

What is in the set and how is it transported?

The sphere is delivered with a user manual, a repair kit and a transport bag that holds the folded skin together with the accessories. Courier shipping is insured.

After each use the sphere is packed back into the bag, so the same unit can be reused at further events, trade fairs and outdoor shows.

Questions and answers

Is the sphere filled with helium or air?

The advertising sphere works both ways – air filled and helium filled. Helium capacity is 22.4 m³, which is the amount of gas needed to fill a 3.5 m diameter skin. For air filling you can add an electric or hand pump to your order.

What is included in the standard set?

The standard set includes the sphere with full UV print, the rigging rope network woven in during production, the main anchor line, a user manual, a repair kit and a transport bag. LED lighting, suspension fittings and pumps are optional extras.

How is a 3.5 m sphere anchored?

The sphere is secured with the rigging rope network woven into the structure during production and with the main anchor line supplied in the set. For suspending the sphere, for example under a hall ceiling, optional fittings are available.

Does the print cover the whole surface of the sphere?

Yes, UV printing is applied to all panels the skin is sewn from. This means the full surface of the balloon is printed, with no areas left without graphics.

Can the sphere be lit after dark?

Yes, LED lighting fitted inside the sphere is available as an option. The lighting works in both the air filled and the helium filled version.

How is the sphere transported?

A transport bag is supplied with the set and holds the folded skin together with the accessories. Once the gas is released, the sphere packs down to the volume of folded 200 g/m² polyurethane fabric.

What should I do if the skin gets damaged?

Every sphere comes with a repair kit for patching minor abrasions and punctures on site. The product is covered by a 24-month warranty.

How much does a 3.5 m sphere with print cost?

Pricing for the 3.5 m advertising sphere with full UV print is available on request. A quote covers the standard set, without optional equipment such as LED lighting, suspension fittings and pumps.

How long does the product hold air without topping up?

The air holds for about 7 days, after which the structure needs a gentle top-up. For displays running longer than a week, plan a short pressure check, particularly when day and night temperatures differ widely.
