Description

1.8 m advertising sphere – construction and purpose

The advertising sphere is a balloon 1.8 m in diameter, sewn from polyurethane fabric with a weight of 200 g/m² and filled with air or helium. Helium capacity is 2.6 m³. The whole surface is UV printed, with graphics possible on every panel.

The construction includes a net of mounting ropes braided into the skin during production and a main anchoring rope. The sphere can stand on the ground in the air-filled version or float on a tether once filled with helium.

What material is it made of and how is it printed?

The 200 g/m² polyurethane fabric forms a smooth, even surface on which UV print does not break at the seams between panels. Graphics can differ on each panel or form one continuous motif wrapping the entire sphere.

A repair kit for sealing minor damage to the skin is included in the set. The product is covered by a 24-month warranty.

Inflation, mounting and optional equipment

In the air-filled version the sphere is inflated with a hand pump or an electric pump – both available as optional equipment, along with hanging brackets and strong LED lighting. The helium version requires 2.6 m³ of gas.

Hanging brackets allow the sphere to be suspended from a hall ceiling, a stage structure or a truss. LED lighting placed inside shines through the skin and allows the sphere to be used after dark.

Applications and transport

The 1.8 m sphere works at trade fairs, outdoor events, conferences and in sports halls – either standing on the ground or suspended above the exhibition area.

Once deflated, everything fits into the transport bag supplied with the set, together with the ropes and the user manual. The same unit can be used at many events, with only the mounting method changing.

Questions and answers

Is the sphere filled with helium or air?

The advertising sphere works with both – it can be filled with air or with helium. Helium inflation takes 2.6 m³ of gas, which matches the volume of a 1.8 m diameter sphere. The air version needs a hand pump or an electric pump, both available as optional equipment.

How is the sphere anchored?

The advertising sphere comes with a woven net of mounting ropes, braided into the skin during production, plus a main anchoring rope included in the set. For suspending it from a ceiling or a structure, hanging brackets can be added as optional equipment.

Does the print cover the whole surface of the sphere?

Yes, full UV printing across the balloon surface is included, with the option to print on every panel. Graphics can therefore run across the entire sphere rather than a single segment.

What exactly is included in the set?

The set includes: the sphere with full UV print, the mounting rope net, the main anchoring rope, a user manual, a repair kit and a transport bag. Pumps, LED lighting and hanging brackets are optional equipment.

Can the sphere be illuminated?

Yes, strong LED lighting can be added to the sphere as optional equipment. It is not part of the standard set.

How do you transport a 1.8 m sphere?

Once deflated, the sphere folds into the transport bag supplied with the set. The 200 g/m² polyurethane fabric rolls up together with the rope net, so the boot of a passenger car is enough to move it.

What should I do if the skin gets damaged?

Every sphere comes with a repair kit for sealing minor abrasions and punctures in the skin on site. The product is covered by a full 24-month warranty.

How much does a 1.8 m printed sphere cost?

Pricing for the 1.8 m advertising sphere is available on request, and the quoted product always includes full UV printing of the surface. Optional equipment – LED lighting, hanging brackets, hand or electric pump – is quoted separately.

How long does the product hold air without topping up?

The air holds for about 7 days, after which the structure needs a gentle top-up. For displays running longer than a week, plan a short pressure check, particularly when day and night temperatures differ widely.
