2.5 m advertising sphere – construction and use

The ARIO advertising sphere with a diameter of 2.5 m is a balloon sewn from polyurethane fabric with a weight of 200 g/m², filled with helium or air. The helium capacity is 8.2 m³.

The product marks locations outdoors and inside buildings: above a start area, above a stage, above an exhibition stand. The helium version floats on the anchoring rope, the air version stands on the ground or hangs on brackets.

Material and workmanship

The skin is polyurethane fabric 200 g/m², sewn from panels that form the spherical shape. The mounting rope harness is tied during production, so nothing has to be assembled on site.

Minor punctures in the skin are repaired with the included repair kit. The finished product carries a 24-month warranty.

How is the UV print applied to all panels?

Graphics are applied by UV printing and can cover all panels of the sphere, that is its entire surface. As a result, the logo or pattern stays readable regardless of the viewing angle and the rotation of the balloon on the rope.

We prepare the artwork adapted to the panel layout at no additional charge.

Inflation, installation and transport

Two pump options are available for the air version: hand and electric. The helium version is secured with the main anchoring rope included in the set.

Optional suspension brackets allow the sphere to be hung under a truss or a hall ceiling. Once folded, the sphere fits into the included transport bag, and the user manual describes the order of steps for setting up and packing.

LED lighting

An optional LED module installed inside the sphere lights the skin from within. This solution is used at evening events and in halls with poor lighting, where the print alone would be less readable.

How much helium is needed to fill a 2.5 m advertising sphere?

The helium capacity of the sphere is 8.2 m³. The sphere can also be filled with air alone, in which case no helium is required and inflation is done with a hand pump or an electric pump available as an option.

Does the print cover the whole surface of the sphere?

Yes, UV printing is applied to all panels, which means the full surface of the balloon. We prepare the artwork free of charge.

How is the sphere anchored?

The sphere comes with a mounting rope harness tied during production and a main anchoring rope included in the set. Suspension brackets can be ordered as an option if the sphere is to hang under a structure or a ceiling.

What is included in the set?

The set includes the sphere with full UV print, the mounting rope harness, the main anchoring rope, a user manual, a repair kit and a transport bag. Pumps, LED lighting and suspension brackets are optional equipment.

Can the sphere be illuminated?

Yes, optional LED lighting installed inside the sphere is available. It is ordered together with the product as additional equipment.

How is a 2.5 m diameter sphere transported?

Once deflated, the sphere packs into the transport bag included in the set. Courier shipment is insured.

What should I do if the skin is punctured?

Every sphere comes with a repair kit for minor damage to the polyurethane fabric skin. The product is covered by a 24-month warranty.

What is the difference between filling with helium and filling with air?

Helium with a volume of 8.2 m³ lifts the sphere into the air on the anchoring rope, while air is used to stand the sphere on the ground or suspend it on brackets. For the air version, a hand pump or an electric pump is provided.

How long does the product hold air without topping up?

The air holds for about 7 days, after which the structure needs a gentle top-up. For displays running longer than a week, plan a short pressure check, particularly when day and night temperatures differ widely.
