Description
6x4 m inflatable arch – construction and use
The inflatable arch is a fan blown arch sewn from coated polyester fabric with a weight of 300 g/m² and held in shape by a constant air supply from a built-in fan. The 6x4 m clearance takes runners starting in a mass start, cyclists and cars, while the 1.3 m diameter legs give the structure a stable base.
Once inflated, the arch occupies 8.6 m in width and 5.3 m in height. When choosing the location, allow for this overall size as well as for the space needed to run out the guy lines.
Fabric and printing
The polyester fabric is additionally coated, which at 300 g/m² gives a surface ready for full colour printing. Printing is done using the UV method, included in the set and covering 100% of the surface – the graphics can run across the legs and the top beam.
If the arch is to serve several sponsors or several events in a season, it is worth ordering hook and loop strips for interchangeable banners. The printed advertising banners themselves are bought separately and swapped on site, without touching the base print.
Setup, power and anchoring
The fan is built into the arch, so setup comes down to unfolding the fabric, starting the blower and anchoring the structure. The fan runs for the whole time the arch is on display and is a quiet unit, which matters next to a commentator position or a start line.
The set includes a full set of guy lines and a full set of ground anchors. On surfaces where anchors cannot be driven in, stabilisation is taken over by the optional skids, which let the arch stand on its own.
What can you add to the set?
LED lighting fitted inside the structure keeps the graphics readable after dark, at evening events and night starts. The 3D element on the top beam is an additional spatial form – for example an enlarged logo or a product shape – placed above the clearance.
Each of the optional elements – LED, 3D element and skids – is ordered together with the arch, as they require the structure to be prepared at the sewing stage.

Questions and answers
What is the actual clearance of the arch and what is the overall footprint?
The clearance – the passage for runners or vehicles – is 6x4 m. Once inflated, the whole structure occupies 8.6 m in width and 5.3 m in height, which has to be accounted for when planning the setup area and the run of the guy lines.
Does the arch need a separate blower?
No, the fan is built into the arch structure and is included in the set. It is a quiet unit, so it can run in the background during the race start or during speeches.
How is the arch anchored to the ground?
The set includes a full set of guy lines and a full set of ground anchors. On hard surfaces, or when the arch has to stand on its own, stabilising skids can be added to the order.
Does the print cover the whole arch?
Yes, the product allows printing on 100% of the surface, and full UV printing is included in the set. The graphics can cover both legs and the top beam, on both sides.
Can the graphics be changed between events?
Yes, as an option we sew on hook and loop strips for interchangeable advertising banners. Additional printed banners are ordered separately, and swapping them does not affect the base print on the arch.
What else can be added to the arch besides the print?
There are three optional elements to choose from: strong LED lighting, a 3D element on the top beam and stabilising skids. LED lighting is useful for events after dark, and the 3D element lets you place a spatial shape on top of the arch, for example a logo or a product.
How is an arch of this size transported?
The arch packs into a transport bag included in the set. Once deflated, the 300 g/m² polyester fabric folds down together with the fan, the lines and the anchors.
What warranty covers the product?
The finished product is covered by a full 24 month warranty. It covers the workmanship of the arch, including the stitching and the built-in fan.
