Inflatable arch for Yamaha

Inflatable arch for Yamaha: a full-colour print in the brand’s own colours, made by ARIO in Poland.

About the project

What did ARIO make for Yamaha?

For Yamaha we sewed and printed an inflatable arch — the entire job done in our own factory in Poland. We match the size and the version to the site — every model we make is listed in the Inflatable arches category.

How does an inflatable arch work at shows and owners’ meets?

Dealers and importers put an inflatable arch where a customer meets the car for the first time: at test drives, trade fairs and owners’ meets. The structure in brand colours marks the zone from the other end of the car park, and after the event it goes back to the store room in a transport bag. Nothing is bolted, welded or built on site, so the same set travels the whole calendar for Yamaha.

At what kind of events is an inflatable arch used?

  • fan zones and children’s competitions — an obvious meeting point in an open field
  • car showrooms and outdoor demonstrations — an arch as the gateway onto the site
  • outdoor trade fairs and exhibitions — an arch standing over the main entrance
  • road races and marathons — a start and finish line carrying organiser and sponsor logos
  • cycling races and rallies — an arch over the route for riders and support cars

What does an inflatable arch add to a brand’s presence?

We sew inflatable arches from PVC-coated polyester, 300 g/m², and a quiet built-in blower holds the shape. Setting up takes minutes: unroll the arch flat, connect the blower, let it stand and anchor it with the stakes from the set. Banners fixed with hook-and-loop strips on the beam, the legs and the corners can be swapped, so a single race arch carries a different sponsor at each event of the season.

Worth knowing: minutes to inflate, longer to anchor properly

The arch itself takes shape a few minutes after the blower is switched on. The time goes into anchoring, and anchoring decides whether the structure survives a gust. Guy lines and ground stakes come with the set; on block paving, tarmac or a hall floor, sandbags or stabilising skids replace the stakes. The rule from our own workshop: run the guy lines crossways, never parallel to the beam, and check them again once the crowd arrives.

How do you choose the right an inflatable arch for your own event?

A straight arch has a rectangular opening and the largest flat area for print, an arched one is the most recognisable in finish-line photographs, and the version with angled corners sits between the two. Where the site has no power, choose constant-pressure arches, inflated once and left without a blower; for a kit one person can carry and re-site, look at SLIM arches.

How do you order an inflatable arch with your own print?

All we need is your logo and the date of the event. The print visualisation comes to you for approval free of charge, production in our own factory in Poland takes 10 working days, and the manufacturer’s warranty covers the whole set. Shipping anywhere in Europe is arranged with the order and quoted individually. Write through the contact form — we answer within 24 hours on working days.
