What the 8x4 m inflatable arch with angled corners is

This is a fan blown structure made of coated polyester fabric with a weight of 300 g/m², held in shape by a built-in fan. The clear opening is 8x4 m, the external dimensions are 11 m x 5.5 m, and the legs are 1.3 m in diameter.

The angled sections joining the legs to the top beam give the arch the silhouette known from racing events and increase the advertising area in the corners. An 8 m wide opening lets vehicles and a wide peloton pass through, so the arch works as a start finish arch and as a passing point on the route.

What material is this model made of?

The coating on the polyester stiffens the fabric and limits print bleed to the reverse side. A weight of 300 g/m² balances seam durability against the mass of the folded arch, which has to be carried and packed into the bag.

The fan is built into the structure and runs in quiet mode, which matters for arches positioned close to the start zone, the PA system and the announcer.

Setup, stabilisation and transport

The set includes guy ropes and ground anchors – the standard fixing method on grass and soil. On asphalt, paving or indoors, optional skids are used, letting the arch stand on its own without driving anchors into the surface.

Once packed down, the whole set goes into the transport bag included with the arch. The same crew handles setup and takedown, with no tools needed beyond those used for anchoring.

Printing and interchangeable graphics

Printing is done using UV technology, with the option of covering 100% of the arch surface, including the legs, the beam and the angled corners. Graphic design is prepared at no additional charge.

If the arch is to serve several events with different sponsors, we sew on hook-and-loop strips for interchangeable banners. In that case the printed banners are ordered separately and the structure stays unchanged.

What can you add to the set?

LED lighting mounted to the structure extends the use of the arch into evening events. A 3D element on the top beam allows a three-dimensional form to be placed above the opening – a logo, a figure or a shape linked to the sport.

Stabilising skids are ordered when the arch is to stand on hard surfaces or in places where guy ropes would interfere with the route. Pricing for the arch and its options is available on request.
