Description

How is this model built and what is it for?

The Rectangle inflatable arch is a fan blown structure made of coated polyester fabric with a weight of 300 g/m², held in shape by a built-in quiet fan. The 6x4 m opening lets through a column of runners, cyclists and vehicles, while the whole structure occupies 8.6 m in width and 5.3 m in height.

The rectangular outline, with legs 1.3 m in diameter, gives vertical sides and a horizontal top beam – three graphic planes visible from both sides. The structure works as a start finish arch, as an entrance to an event site or as a passage between zones.

Material and workmanship

The polyester fabric is additionally coated, which stiffens the skin and helps hold the shape under constant air pressure. The 300 g/m² weight applies to the entire surface of the arch, including the legs that carry the load from the guy ropes.

The manufacturer covers the finished product with a full 24-month warranty.

How do you set it up, anchor it and transport it?

The set includes a set of guy ropes and a set of ground anchors, which is the standard way of anchoring into soil. On asphalt, paving or indoors, optional stabilising skids are used and the arch stands on them without any anchors being driven in.

After deflation the arch is packed into the included transport bag, so it can be moved between locations in a passenger car.

Printing and interchangeable banners

Printing is done using UV technology and can cover 100% of the arch surface – sponsor logos, the event name, start and finish markings. Artwork is prepared free of charge.

Organisers of recurring events can order sewn-on hook-and-loop strips for interchangeable advertising banners. The base graphics on the arch then stay unchanged and only the banners attached with hook-and-loop are rotated.

What can you add to the set?

Three add-ons are available: LED lighting for display after dark, a 3D element mounted on the top beam and stabilising skids. Each is ordered separately and quoted on request.

The 3D element on the top beam lets you give the arch a shape referring to a product or a company mark, while keeping the rectangular 6x4 m opening.

Questions and answers

What is the actual footprint of the arch once inflated?

The inflated arch occupies 8.6 m in width and 5.3 m in height, with a 6x4 m clear opening for participants. When planning the spot on a running route or at an entrance gate, allow for the external dimension rather than the opening, because each leg is 1.3 m in diameter.

How is the arch anchored to the ground?

Every arch ships with a set of guy ropes and a set of ground anchors. On surfaces where anchors cannot be driven in, optional stabilising skids are available, and the arch then stands on its own.

Does the fan have to run the whole time?

Yes, this is a fan blown (constant air) structure, so the built-in quiet fan maintains pressure for the entire time the arch is on display. The fan is factory built into the structure, not a separate unit to be connected.

Can the graphics be changed between events?

Yes, the arch can optionally be supplied with sewn-on hook-and-loop strips for interchangeable advertising banners. This works when one structure serves several sponsors or successive editions of an event – the permanent print on the arch stays as it is and only the banners change.

How is the printing done and how much of the surface can be printed?

Printing is done using UV technology and can cover 100% of the arch surface, including the legs and the top beam. Artwork preparation is free of charge.

Can the arch be used after dark?

Yes, LED lighting is available as an option. It is used for evening runs, concerts and events that finish after sunset.

What can be mounted on the top beam apart from graphics?

An additional 3D element can be mounted on the top beam, for example a three-dimensional shape referring to a product or a logo. This is optional equipment and is quoted separately on request.

How is the arch transported?

A transport bag for the deflated arch is included in the set. Once the air is released, the structure packs down to a size that fits in a car boot, and courier shipment to the customer is insured.
