Description
8 m waisted advertising balloon – construction and purpose
The waisted advertising balloon is a fan blown structure 8 m high, sewn from polyester fabric with an additional PVC coating, 320 g/m². Its shape is held by a built-in fan that supplies air for the whole time the balloon is on display.
The narrowing in the middle section divides the body into two zones, which allows the logo and the advertising message to be placed on separate fields. The whole surface is printed.
How does the UV print and replaceable band work?
Graphics are applied by UV printing directly onto the coated fabric, across the full surface of the balloon. We prepare the artwork at no extra charge.
The balloon has a hook and loop trim and a banner fixed with hook and loop tape. For the next campaign you order a new advertising band instead of a complete balloon – the replaceable band is available as optional equipment.
Installation, stabilisation and power
Installation uses the set of guy ropes and the set of ground anchors supplied with the balloon. On hard surfaces, where anchors cannot be used, the ropes are clipped into weights: sand or water, concrete or steel.
The fan has to stay connected to power for the entire time the balloon is inflated. Setting up and operation are described in the manual included in the set.
Lighting and use after dark
Optional LED lighting placed inside the balloon illuminates it from within, keeping the graphics visible after dark. The dusk sensor switches the light on automatically, with no staff involvement.
This matters for round-the-clock displays and for events that finish in the evening, where the balloon stays set up for several days.
Transport, warranty and applications
Once packed down, the balloon fits into the transport bag supplied with the set together with the ropes, anchors and manual. Courier shipment is insured.
The product comes with a 24 month warranty. The 8 m height works at mass events, runs and sports competitions, venue openings, outdoor trade fairs and along access routes. Quotations for the balloon and its optional equipment are prepared on request.

What is included in the set?
The set includes the fan blown advertising balloon with a built-in fan, a set of guy ropes, a set of ground anchors, a user manual and a transport bag. The balloon surface is UV printed across its full area. The product comes with a 24 month warranty.
How is an 8 m balloon anchored?
The balloon is secured with the set of guy ropes clipped into the anchors supplied with it. On surfaces where anchors cannot be driven in, weights are used – sand or water weights, concrete weights and steel weights are available as options.
Does the balloon need a permanent power supply?
Yes, the balloon holds its shape thanks to the built-in fan, which has to run for the whole time the balloon is on display. This means power must be available at the installation point.
Can the balloon be illuminated after dark?
Yes, LED lighting and a dusk sensor are available as optional equipment. The sensor switches the lighting on automatically once dusk falls, with no manual operation.
Can the graphics be changed without buying a new balloon?
Yes, the balloon has a hook and loop trim and a banner mounted on hook and loop tape. For a new campaign you replace only the advertising band, while the body of the balloon stays the same.
What printing technique is used?
The print is applied by UV printing across the full surface of the balloon. The substrate is polyester fabric with an additional PVC coating, 320 g/m².
How is the balloon transported and stored?
A transport bag is included in the set, and the balloon is carried and stored in it once packed down. The ropes, anchors and user manual belong to the same set.
