Description

Waisted 10 m advertising balloon – construction and use

The waisted 10 m advertising balloon is a fan blown structure with a skin made of PVC-coated polyester fabric, 320 g/m², held in shape by a built-in fan running throughout the display. The waist, that is the narrowing in the middle of the body, is the mounting point for the advertising band.

A height of 10 m suits this model to open sites: event car parks, sports competition grounds, squares by shopping centres, outdoor fairs and rally routes. The balloon is visible from a long distance, before visitors reach the event site.

UV printing and interchangeable advertising band

The surface of the balloon is UV printed in full – the print covers the entire body and is part of the standard configuration rather than a surcharge. The print is applied directly onto the coated fabric, and pricing is quoted on request.

The waist, edged with hook and loop tape, takes a separate advertising banner. This works well for sponsorship of recurring events: the body of the balloon stays in the organiser's colours, while the band at the waist changes with the sponsor of each edition. The interchangeable advertising band is ordered as optional equipment.

Installation, anchoring and weights

The balloon comes with a set of guy ropes and a set of anchors, together with a user manual. Anchors are used on ground, grass and soil, where they can be driven in along their full length.

On asphalt, block paving and floors, anchoring is replaced by optional weights: bags filled with sand or water, concrete weights and steel weights. The ballast is selected according to the surface and the wind conditions at the display site.

LED lighting and use after dark

The balloon can be fitted with LED lighting placed inside the skin, so the body glows after dark along with the print. This is complemented by a dusk sensor, which switches the light on by itself as daylight levels drop.

An LED set with a dusk sensor makes sense at multi-day events and campaigns running into late hours, when the crew does not return to the site to switch the lighting on by hand.

What is in the set and how is it transported?

The delivery includes the balloon with a built-in fan, full UV printing, guy ropes, anchors, a user manual and a transport bag. The product is covered by a 24-month warranty.

Once deflated, the skin folds into the bag together with the hardware, so the balloon can be moved between locations without a trailer. The same unit serves further events, and the message is updated by swapping the advertising band at the waist.
