Description
What this product is
The light bulb shaped advertising balloon is a fan blown inflatable form 3 m high, sewn from polyester fabric with a PVC coating, 320 g/m². The shape is held by air pressure from a fan built into the base, which runs for the whole time the balloon is on display.
The product is supplied as a complete display kit: printed skin, guy ropes, ground stakes, user manual and transport bag. The product comes with a 24 month warranty and pricing is quoted on request.
What material is this model made of?
The skin is polyester fabric with an additional PVC coating. The 320 g/m² figure refers to the material after coating, that is the value measured on the finished fabric used to sew the balloon.
The edges of the advertising area are finished with hook and loop edging. This makes it possible to remove and refit the banner without unpicking the seams of the skin.
Setting up and anchoring
Setting up means unfolding the skin, connecting the fan and anchoring the balloon with guy ropes. The set of ropes and the set of ground stakes are included, as is the user manual describing the order of the steps.
On block paving, asphalt and indoor hall floors stakes cannot be used. For such locations there are optional weights: sand or water weights, concrete weights and steel weights.
Print and changing the advertising message
Graphics are UV printed over the full surface of the balloon, so the print covers the whole bulb shape rather than a selected section. Full print coverage is included in the kit and artwork preparation is carried out at no extra charge.
The hook and loop banner is a separate element. A replacement advertising panel from the optional equipment list allows the same balloon to be used for different campaigns or different brands.
Use after dark and applications
LED lighting illuminates the balloon from the inside and the dusk sensor switches it on automatically once it gets dark. With the light bulb shape, the illumination reproduces the readable form of a glowing light source.
The bulb shape is most often used on trade fair stands in the electrical and lighting sectors, outside showrooms, at company events and at outdoor promotions. The transport bag and the absence of a frame mean that the same unit can be set up at several locations one after another.

Questions and answers
How is the 3 m advertising balloon anchored?
The balloon is anchored with guy ropes attached to ground stakes – both sets are included in the kit. On hard surfaces where stakes cannot be driven in, optional sand or water weights, concrete weights and steel weights are available.
Does the balloon need a permanent power supply?
Yes – the shape is held by a built-in fan that has to run for the whole time the balloon is on display. The fan is part of the balloon and is included in the kit.
Can the balloon be lit after dark?
The balloon can be fitted with LED lighting and a dusk sensor that switches the lighting on automatically once it gets dark. Both items are on the optional equipment list.
Can the advertising message be changed without replacing the whole balloon?
Yes – the balloon has a hook and loop edging and a banner fixed with hook and loop tape, so the advertising panel can be removed and swapped without touching the skin. A replacement advertising panel is ordered as optional equipment.
What printing technique is used for the graphics?

How is the balloon transported between events?
