What the 4 m air dancer is

The air dancer is a vertical sleeve made of coated polyester fabric of 80 g/m², 4 m high and 43 cm in diameter, inflated by a fan included in the set. The air stream keeps the sleeve in continuous, irregular motion.

The body has extra strands and waving frills. These give this version its particular movement, different from a plain sleeve without such finishing.

Fabric and print

The sleeve is sewn from coated polyester fabric with a weight of 80 g/m². The low fabric weight lets the sleeve move freely on the air stream from the fan.

Graphics are applied by sublimation printing, with the option of 100% coverage. In sublimation the dye passes into the fibre structure, so the print does not form an extra layer on the fabric and does not stiffen it.

Setting up and lighting

To run the air dancer you need the fan from the set and access to power. The sleeve is fitted over the fan and, once the unit is switched on, it fills with air and stays upright for the whole time it is running.

The set can be extended with external LED floodlights. The floodlights are placed at the base and light the sleeve from the outside.

Where is this model used?

The 4 m height and 43 cm diameter suit open sites: car parks, entrances to outdoor events, race routes and outdoor trade fair stands.

Full surface print allows a logo, company colours or zone marking to be placed on the sleeve, for example an entrance, a finish line or a registration point.
