Advertising balloon for PGNiG

Advertising balloon for PGNiG: a full-colour print in the brand’s own colours, made by ARIO in Poland.

About the project

What did ARIO make for PGNiG?

For PGNiG we sewed and printed an advertising balloon — the entire job done in our own factory in Poland. We match the size and the version to the site — every model we make is listed in the Advertising Balloons category.

How does an advertising balloon work in brand promotion?

Manufacturers and retail chains choose an advertising balloon on a simple calculation: one structure, dozens of appearances in a season, no assembly costs and no hire charges. A UV print keeps the colours inside the brand guidelines, and after the event the whole thing packs into a car boot. Nothing has to be hired, built or disposed of afterwards, which is the practical argument for PGNiG.

At what kind of events is an advertising balloon used?

  • local advertising outside a showroom, supermarket or office as a permanent “we are here”
  • sponsor zones at sports events — the logo standing above the start and finish line
  • town days, harvest festivals and family picnics — marking the stage or the organiser zone
  • festivals, concerts and outdoor parties — a landmark visible above the stage
  • shop openings and retail promotions — a huge shape by the door that stops passers-by

What does an advertising balloon add to a brand’s presence?

The reach of an inflatable balloon comes from simple geometry: the higher the logo sits, the further away people read it. We make waisted balloons and spheres from 3 to 10 m and light-bulb shapes from 3 to 8 m, so even the smallest model stands above heads and cars. The UV print covers the whole surface and keeps its colour through rain and sun, and one balloon serves dozens of events in a season because it packs down into a transport bag.

Worth knowing: why an advertising balloon has a waist

The narrow section at the bottom of a waisted balloon is not decoration. It reduces the area the wind pushes against near the ground, and at the same time it lifts the largest part of the print higher, to the height where people see it above their heads. At the same overall height a waisted balloon therefore shows a logo more clearly than a plain cylinder, and it behaves more calmly in a gust. That is also why this shape is the usual choice for a balloon that stays out all weekend.

How do you choose the right an advertising balloon for your own event?

The shape follows the message. A waisted balloon gives the largest continuous area for a logo, a sphere reads the same from every side, and a light bulb tells a story on its own. We also build custom inflatables to order: product replicas and figures. Where the site is too tight for a tall balloon, a pair of inflatable columns marks the same zone from under a metre of ground each.

How do you order an advertising balloon with your own print?

All we need is your logo and the date of the event. The print visualisation comes to you for approval free of charge, production in our own factory in Poland takes 10 working days, and the manufacturer’s warranty covers the whole set. Shipping anywhere in Europe is arranged with the order and quoted individually. Write through the contact form — we answer within 24 hours on working days.
